The picture in front of you was shot in Afghanistan by Robert Wilson in 2014.
For two weeks in October 2014, a selection of images taken on his trip will pop up on billboards and bus stops around the country. The aim of the project is to draw a parallel between our lives at home in the UK and those of the armed forces due to return home in 2014. The images are a metaphorical homecoming.
Each billboard has been carefully placed to in some way mirror or echo its surroundings...
